We got back to the hotel after the park around 11:15. Chloe fell asleep in the van on the way. We managed to keep her asleep and she slept until 2 pm. We got her up, fed her lunch, and had to meet our guide in the lobby to go to the Shanxi museum. We had Cathy, Mike, and Carly along with us. We are SO grateful that we met them and have been able to hang out with them during the days...if not, it would have been a LONG week! We have a bit in common too..most importantly, our love of the movie Dumb and Dumber. We receited scenes from the movie suring the day, and were able to keep our spirits up. We hope to meet up with them in Giangzhou, even though we aren't at the same hotel. We actually had a really nice day-OUTSIDE the hotel walls. The weather was beautiful, the girls were good, and best of all, we had McDonald's for supper! Chloe had her first happy meal and loved the fries! We are leaving our hotel tomorrow at 1 pm for our 3:30 flight to Guangzhou, and on to our stay at the Victory, where we will meet up with our fellow BAAS family members. We will be home in less than a week. Anxious for Chloe to meet her family back home...Please keep us in your prayers since we are flying tomorrow and this will be another first for Chloe.
